The Catanzaro State Archives, with the Lamezia Terme section, preserves the Civil Status fund, that is, the second copies of birth, marriage, death, and marriage banns registers and their indexes from 1809 to 1865, referring to the municipalities of the province of Catanzaro and the current provinces of Crotone and Vibo Valentia.
Draft lists
The archive called the Military Fund preserves the conscription lists of the historical commandments of the current provinces of Catanzaro, Crotone (classes 1942-1949) and Vibo Valentia (classes up to 1929).
Matriculation sheets and roles
Also preserved in the Military Fund are matriculation rolls that inform about the military service performed, the corps of assignment, and the war campaigns until final discharge (privates and non-commissioned officers) of the classes 1843-1945 of the historical commandments of the current provinces of Catanzaro ,Crotone and Vibo Valentia.

The national 14-18 Documents and Images of the Great War project, coordinated by the Central Institute for the Unique Catalogue of Italian Libraries, began with the initial goal of virtually bringing together and making available online the bibliographic and archival material of the War Fund, The project has since expanded to involve various institutions including the Superintendence for the Historical and Ethnoanthropological Heritage of Calabria, the State Archives of Catanzaro, the Superintendence for Fine Arts and Landscape of Calabria, Biblioteca Universitaria Alessandrina, Museo Centrale del Risorgimento, Superintendence for Fine Arts and Landscape for the City and Province of Naples, and the Superintendence for Historical, Artistic and Ethnoanthropological Heritage of Apulia.
