‘Memorabilia’, the documentary film about the historic Morassutti hardware store, debuts at festivals

The documentary film Memorabilia – Una storia di famiglia will soon debut on the film festival circuit.
The film, written, directed and narrated by Giovanni Enrico Morassutti – director, actor and descendant of the family – tells the epic story of the Paolo Morassutti company, founded in the late 18th century and which became Italy’s leading hardware and household goods retailer in the 1960s.

Through archival materials and period accounts, the work also traces the extraordinary history of the company’s amateur theatre troupe, a unique entity that is still active today and symbolises the strong bond between the company and the community.

The collaboration with CSC – Archivio Nazionale Cinema d’Impres was crucial to the realisation of the project, contributing to the recovery and enhancement of the historical memory of the family and the company.
