Tell your story

If the Ancestors Portal has been helpful in your genealogical research and has contributed to the retrieval of information about your ancestors, you can write about your family history and your personal research experience, highlighting:

• The motivation for genealogical research;
• The consulted pages of the portal Antenati;
• Sources consulted, private or public, archives and libraries, digital resources etc.
• The results expected or hoped for and those achieved;

By filling out the form below, you will be sent the necessary templates to proceed with publication. In order to proceed with publication, we ask that you identify a title referencing the narrative of the story, an abstract summarizing the highlights described and the text of your story, accompanied by jpg photographs.

In your story, you will be able to tell and share with other users how you came to know about the Ancestor Portal, what factors prompted you to write your story, what feelings and emotions were aroused by discovering the presence of ancestor-related records in your family. Basically, we would like to receive a paper that encapsulates your experience of searching the portal.

The Portal does not carry out genealogical and/or registry searches on behalf of users, nor does it provide help with this type of research, but it does make available the documentation to carry out searches independently.
